Overlay indicator for NinjaTrader 8
DynamiConfluence
Not all levels matter equally. DynamiConfluence stacks VWAP, volume profile, pivots, session structure and liquidity walls, keeps only the places where several reasons to react overlap, and tells you what that type of zone did across your own sessions.

What you see, depending on what you own
DynamiConfluence has no order book reading of its own: that is not a commercial lock, it is an absence of code. The DOM Suite and DynamiFlow do not unlock the same rows, and the table says so before the purchase rather than after.
| Feature | Alone | + DOM Suite | + DynamiFlow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zones, scores, statuses, statistics | yes | yes | yes |
| HOLDS / GIVES gate | no | yes | yes |
| Toxicity | no | yes | yes |
| Liquidity walls inside the clustering | no | no | yes |
| Stacked imbalance zones | no | no | yes |
The last two rows are the difference: only DynamiFlow publishes its walls and stacked zones into the shared bridge. The DOM Suite columns do not. DynamiConfluence with DynamiFlow is therefore the only combination that enriches the map itself, not just how fast it reacts.
Without either one, a badge permanently reads “Core absent”.
How a zone forms
Seven levels on the chart. Three sit within a few ticks of each other: that is the only place that becomes a zone.
A schematic, not a screenshot. The four isolated levels are not drawn on the chart: with no close neighbour they never reach the three-level threshold, so they build no zone. They only feed the clustering, and are shown in grey here for the explanation alone. The real screenshots are higher up this page.
What the indicator does
Levels that overlap become a zone
Nine families of levels are collected: the VWAP and its standard deviation bands, the POC, the VAH and the VAL of the volume profile, multi-day Camarilla pivots, session structure, the liquidity walls and stacked zones published by DynamiFlow, and Fibonacci retracements. A sliding-window grouping merges whatever fits within 4 ticks. At least three levels are needed for a zone to exist.
Not every reason weighs the same
The score is weighted per family: VWAP and POC count 1.5, a prior day high 1.3, a same-day pivot 1.2, a deviation band 1.0, a past-day pivot 0.8 and decaying with age. The label shows both numbers, level count and score, as [3|4.2].
Yesterday's pivot reinforces a zone, it never creates one
Every zone must contain at least one live level from today. Without that rule, twenty days of history produced zones made only of pivots from different days. A checkbox restores the old behaviour.
Session structure, on your hours
Prior day high, low and close, overnight high and low, current session open, high and low, Asia and London extremes. The time windows are configurable in the chart's local time.
A zone has a history, and it is written on it
Virgin until it has been tested. Tx1, Tx2 each time price enters the band from outside, with at least three bars between two tests. BROKEN with a direction arrow as soon as a close crosses the band, a wick is not enough. FLIP when a broken zone is retested from the other side.
Context, once, at the top
Price above a rising VWAP: buyer context. Below a falling VWAP: seller context. Otherwise range. One mark follows on the zones, FRAGILE, placed on the one working against that context.
Three zones above, three below
A panel lists the next zones both ways with their distance in ticks, price, score, composition, status and statistics. The visual order follows price.
History without the clutter
One hue per day, down to D-6 and older, with an opacity floor so an isolated old zone stays visible. Each band starts at the bar where it first appeared. Minimal mode reduces any zone beyond a proximity radius to a single marker.
Trilingual, with its help built in
Interface in English, French or Spanish. A menu in the chart toolbar drives the sources, structure, DOM and display, recomputing on click. A built-in help window draws the band families in your own colors and breaks the label down.
The number nobody displays
Every zone touch is logged in a local database, on your machine, with its composition and its outcome. Nothing is pre-filled, nothing is backtested: the database starts empty and grows while you trade, because a touch only counts live, when price actually reaches the zone.
The measurement is strict: a break counts on a close beyond the opposite edge, not on a wick, a bounce on a favourable excursion of at least 8 ticks or 1.5 times the zone height. Whichever comes first decides, over a 25-bar horizon.
A rate per type of confluence, not per price
Rates are indexed by composition family, not by individual zone. Three zones made of sigma, profile and structure therefore show the same number. That is a deliberate choice: a finer key would give two or three touches per zone, which is noise dressed up as statistics. Here you get a hundred touches of history, and the sample size sits in brackets so you can judge for yourself.
What the number covers, exactly
The count belongs to this instrument AND this bar type: switching from 200 tick to 5 minute starts from an empty counter. It looks back up to 90 days of sessions, which is a ceiling and not a promise. The rate appears from ten touches of the same composition, with its sample size: it sharpens as you trade, it invents nothing.
The label, piece by piece
Everything the zone knows fits on one line, and the names of the levels composing it sit to its left, each at its own height.
- [3|4.2]: three levels, weighted score 4.2
- POC+VWAP+PDC: the families composing the zone
- ▲ +0.07: book pressure at the level (Core required)
- T:89: local flow toxicity, 0 to 100 (Core required)
- FLIP S→R: broken then retested from the other side, polarity has flipped
- R68%/T31% (29): bounces and breaks for this type of zone, over 29 cases
What the defence does when price arrives
Within sixteen ticks of a zone, the gate reads the book on the side protecting it. HOLDS in green when the defence stacks up, GIVES in orange when it withdraws, with a score in lots. It reads the moment, never forecasts it, and it requires DOM Suite or DynamiFlow.
What the indicator does not do
The product's own help says it already: a map, not an advisor.
No buy or sell signals
Place, history, context and moment are displayed. The decision, the trigger and the size stay with the trader.
No prediction
HOLDS and GIVES describe what the book's defence is doing now, not what price will do next.
A rate is not a promise
R and T are a count observed live on your machine, for this instrument and this bar type. It is neither a backtest nor a supplied database: the rate sharpens as you trade.
No execution, no position management
The indicator places no orders and manages no positions.
No book reading without a Core
The indicator has no market depth subscription. Without DOM Suite or DynamiFlow the DOM layer stays off, and the badge says so.
Requirements
NinjaTrader 8. The VWAP, volume profile and Camarilla pivot sources ship inside the package, nothing to buy on the side.
For order book reading, pressure, toxicity and the gate: Professional DOM Suite or DynamiFlow, plus a level 2 data subscription. For liquidity walls and stacked zones to enter the clustering, DynamiFlow is required: the DOM Suite does not publish them.
The license is delivered by our server from the email and key entered in the indicator. Without a valid license the indicator stays blank and shows the reason. A three-day grace after the last successful contact with the server covers network outages.

Questions we get
- What do you get with DynamiConfluence alone?
- The whole map: zones, composition, score, statuses, context, next zones panel, history and learned rates. Order book reading requires the DOM Suite or DynamiFlow, because the indicator has no market depth component of its own. And liquidity walls and stacked zones only join the clustering with DynamiFlow. The badge reads “Core absent” until one of the two is there.
- Do you need other indicators for the sources?
- No. VWAP, deviation bands, volume profile and Camarilla pivots ship inside the package and are computed by the indicator itself. You add nothing to your chart.
- Where do the R and T rates come from?
- From your own sessions. Every touch is logged in a local database on your machine, nothing leaves it, and nothing is pre-filled: a touch only counts live, when price reaches the zone while the indicator is running. The count belongs to the instrument and the bar type, looks back up to 90 days of sessions, and the rate appears from ten touches of the same composition, with its sample size.
- If I remove and re-add the indicator, do I lose my statistics?
- No. The rates live in a SQLite database on your disk, indexed by instrument and bar type: re-adding the indicator neither wipes nor doubles them, since the write is idempotent. The map itself is recomputed from the bars on every load, so the same settings and the same loaded history give the same map, Tx and FLIP statuses included. Note that "same settings" includes the Data Series days to load: a chart loading 5 days and one loading 30 do not have the same pivots available. Only the DOM layer starts empty again, because it reads the book of the moment.
- Which instruments?
- Any instrument NinjaTrader gives you data for: futures, stocks, forex. Session time windows are configurable, with defaults set on Paris time.
